Firm Files Two New Cases

Category: What's New »

The firm has just filed two new cases, one using a pseudonym.

The first case is against a ministry and the owner minister of the ministry for hiring a minister with a known prior conviction involving sexual assaults on multiple children while working earlier with another religious organization. The lawsuit alleges the minister was negligently hired, negligently supervised, and negligently, recklessly and with actual knowledge allowed to live with a child and his grandmother who was a ministry volunteer.  This minister was also allowed to actively work with other children, without warning or disclosure of the minister's pedophilia history or public reporting. This allegedly resulted in numerous sexual assaults on the child.

The second case is against two landlords for failing to replace an unlockable broken door and a broken back fence, despite extensive actual knowledge of this urgent maintenance requirement in a very high crime neighborhood.  The lawsuit alleges that this failure to maintain the premises and respond to repeated requests for assistance allowed two people to easily barge into a disabled woman's rental unit and rape and sexually assault her.
